Solar and Wind Power Generation Construction

With the Taiwanese Government’s “5+2 Industrial Transformation Plan” and the “2025 Nuclear-less Homeland Plan”, Green Energy Industry Promotion Center (GEIPC) has been established under the collaboration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan).

GEIPC is responsible for:

  • Start-up & promoting the national demand of green energy;
  • Introduce overseas/ international investments; and
  • Up-skills the green energy technologies and industries nationally.

The main experimental goal is to increase power generation using green/ renewable energy to 20% of the total national power generation. This strategy will eventually lead Taiwan to become one of the industry leader in green energy.

On the 23rd of June 2016, the Executive Yuan has established a department of “Energy and Low Carbon Emission” to assist the Ministry of Economic Affairs to complete the “2-year Solar Power Generation Plan” to increase the national solar power generation to 1.52 GW. This 2-year plan will lead to the ultimate plan of 20GW solar power generation by 2025.

In addition, wind power generation is also the main development item within the green energy plan. The Taiwanese Government is also promoting a “4-year wind power generation plan” of 3 GW offshored wind generation.

The intent of these green energy generation plans is to provide Taiwan with a sustainable and environmental power generation solution as well as pushing the development of all relevant industries. These plans will also lead to international investments and increase in employment rate during the energy solution transformation.

In conclusion, Jen Yi has been working together with the Taiwanese Government closely to promote the green energy policy in the aspects of solar power and wind power generation system constructions. Recently, Jen Yi has been engaged by Star Energy to provide PV Module foundation construction for the project “Changhua Zhangbin Solar Photovoltaic New Construction Project” as well as engaged by Taiwan Power Company for other green energy related construction projects.

Jen Yi has a strong belief in promoting sustainable energy solution to help shaping Taiwan to a renewable energy based country. Jen Yi has the capability and strong teams to deliver Client’s request and is seeking more opportunities to develop within this industry.
