Undertake TECO/CIP Zhangfang and Xidao offshore wind field pipeline project

Changhua Waihai is an important city for the development of Taiwan's offshore wind power and green energy industry, and various industry players are stepping up their development projects. Among them, the Copenhagen Infrastructure Fund (CIP) has two wind farms off the coast of Changhua, namely Changfang Wind Farm and Xidao Wind Farm. The combined installation capacity of these two wind farms is about 600 MW. configuration is complete. After completion, it will be the first operation and maintenance base in China that is led by a developer, conforms to international standards, and can be used for more than 20 years. Develop a demonstration site for wind farm operation and maintenance centers.

TECO Electric Co., Ltd. is in charge of contracting the onshore project of Zhangfang West Island Wind Farm. It will start the construction of onshore step-up and transformer stations and related equipment. After being merged into the Taipower Substation, it is estimated that the wind farm can be supplied to Zhangfang after the completion of industrial and commercial transfer. The electricity demand of 650,000 households in West Island. TECO stated that this project is combined with the Taixing project, responsible for the design, civil engineering and electromechanical engineering of the Zhangfang-Xidao wind farm land project, and integrates the output power of the two wind farms, connects to the new onshore substation, and then transmits it to the Taipower substation Join the power supply network. In June 2020, Zhenyi Construction Co., Ltd. was appointed to undertake the construction of the Zhangfang and Xidao offshore wind farm land booster station-external pipeline project.

TECO pointed out that offshore wind power emphasizes high-standard industrial safety and engineering quality, both of which are indispensable. Through continuous accumulation of experience, we are confident that we will continue to win other wind farm projects in the future and lay a solid foundation for the localization of Taiwan's offshore wind power. , and then strive for business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific wind power market. We must also work together with our partners to accelerate the establishment of Taiwan's wind power industry supply chain, and fully implement the goal of localization and promotion of localization.
